Although the people of Sanctuary have always been protected by the Worldstone, a magical object that shielded them from the menacing eyes of hell, its recent destruction has left them exposed to jeopardy once again. Diablo 3’s story takes place 20 years after Diablo II’s hero saved Sanctuary from the demonic forces of Mephisto, Diablo and Baal, who sought to destroy the world. With the old hero long gone, a new one must rise and players will have to choose between 5 distinct character classes as they explore and redeem familiar and never before seen areas of Sanctuary.

Diablo 3 Collector’s Editions are also available for pre-order purchase on our website. One of many premium PS3, Xbox 360, PC, DS and Wii games available for pre-order now, Diablo III is due for release on May 15th.Along with the game found in the standard edition, the Diablo III Collector’s Edition comes packed with other goodies that will delight fans of the series and create a fuller gaming experience, including: a 4GB ‘Soulstone’ USB stick pre-loaded with Diablo II and its expansion Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, a Diablo skull sculpture that doubles as a base for your USB stick, the game soundtrack, a behind the scenes Blu-ray and DVD set, an art book, and exclusive in-game content for Diablo III, World of Warcraft and StarCraft II.

In Diablo III, you will have to battle swarms of hell spawn as you collect spells, mystical items, weapons and experience to become the hero that Sanctuary needs. This works but isn’t very fun. It was either hard to stay alive (if I was too low) or way too easy (if I stepped down). I suspect that once a bunch of my friends reach Inferno it will be easier. I was often concerned with not messing up my solo game or having to repeat. If you exit the game to join another and you aren’t at a checkpoint you’ll have to backtrack a little to wherever it lets you reset the quest to.
